Exploits of a Veelager

The Lighthouse Family

Another Robert Stevenson design is the lighthouse at Corsewall Point on the Irish Sea coast of Dumfries and Galloway, a little research makes interesting reading as apparently one of its earliest keepers found himself in trouble for falling asleep on the job and Concord shattered some of its glass panes on one of its frequent supersonic runs up the west coast in 1970.

No such dramas today but was nice to see that unfamiliar orange orb in the sky providing some nice light as opposed to the never ending grey we have been having.
