Also known as sunrise...

I took down all the interior holiday stuff yesterday, but the old pear tree out front still has its lights and baubles. Today when I went out to get the paper, I was treated with this sunrise as well as with a hummingbird who was as curious about me as I was about him. I stood absolutely still, and he got to within a foot and a half of me before he spun around and whirred off. One of those moments when The Glasses Camera would have come in handy...
