One of the neighbors has lined the full length of his property with these concrete blocks planted out with an enormous variety of succulents. It will be fun to watch them fill in the space.

I just took time out to satisfy a huge craving for chocolate chip cookies. I used the $250 Neiman Marcus Cookie Recipe, which I've had since the early 90s. The story is a total urban legend, but the cookies are delicious! When I combine them with another indulgence, an early Robert Parker Spenser detective novel, and a glass of milk, I'll be in pig heaven for an evening in front of the fire.
