Dad

My dad would have been 91 today. He died about a month after his 75th birthday, he is missed more that words can say.

Our little wedding bouquets in mason jars from the reception tables are hanging on. Tomorrow we will be married a week, it's unbelievable! You can see my mother & father on their wedding day in 1946 in this shot.

T took today and a few more off and we did some laundry and then nothing all day. We both fell asleep during the first episode of Downton Abbey, season 4 last night, so we re-watched it On Demand today. I expect an early night as well tonight.

All of our travelers are safely home and we're just pretending they're out shopping at Whole Foods, we miss them very much. We are so familiar with each other's houses here and over the sea that there is no adjustment...until they leave.

For the Record,
This day came in dark and rainy, the temperatures were warmer, but suddenly dropped with frigid temps on the way. Ice will rule the day tomorrow. We'll be inside with hot tea.

All hands are healthy.
