Things Have To Go!

Especially my History of Art 'A' level exercise books. they were twice the size of other books we'd used through school, almost A4 (but not foolscap) so that made them feel special.

I liked to find pictures of paintings in magazines and add them to the notes. My auntie collected some of them for me from The Sunday Telegraph.

I went to Whitehaven Grammar, where Ron Bulmer was the Art teacher. In those days we had to listen carefully in class, take notes and look things up in library books. There was no Wikipedia in those days but, as you can see, there was a spell-checker. He was called Sir and he had a red pen!

Now back to the clearing-out!
