My Best Efforts - Year 3

By AMC

Erysimum.......

........or perennial Wallflower.

As I was topping up the bird feeders, I caught a glimpse of a tiny speck of yellow nearby - the plant, barely 4 inches high, turned out to be a very small. self seeded wallflower and with a few miniscule flowers showing. Very modest but possibly with scope for a fun picture to cheer us if we are feeling a bit fed up. This is the result!

Rained heavily early on then turned dry and brighter but now dull and a solid grey sky. It isn't cold for January - 46 Deg.F. - and the wind has dropped.

Hope everyone is safe and well and that the flooded areas don't get any more rain!
