Too Many Allusions

It is not possible to get white clouds and white stars. Lit by the streets, the clouds at night are red. The stars are blue-white to red-white, but blue against these clouds. It is not possible to keep the colours and have white clouds and white stars together. By losing colours, this can be done. To keep colours, either the clouds are white and the stars blue, or the stars are white and the clouds red. Neither is pleasing. This process could be used as a metaphor. Saying things directly is better, and more clear.

By converting to black-and-white, both stars and clouds are white. There is no need, as our brains know that both stars and clouds look white. Even when they appear different colours. It is our fault that we have made the clouds red.
