Raining chips!

When this happened a few weeks ago, we were left with a huge pile of branches in the field below our garden. Two men arrived today with a machine that, as it was fed branches, chewed them up and spit out chips. In a very short time the huge pile of branches was transformed into a pile of chippings. I had never seen one of these work before and it is probably old hat to keen gardeners, but I thought it was magic.
