Apparently it's not just the "Seagulls".

The only half-decent day this year (?) and opportunity was taken to do the washing :¬((

While having a brew I spotted this bloke emulating the local gulls and pole-squatting. There is now one more line to clone out, if I ever do another shot in that direction.

We all know the Health and safety has a lot to answer for. I'll not argue that it's all a pile of spheroids, but surely there's a limit?

This bloke was wearing a harness ... yup, why not?
He took up a line, whereby he could raise and lower his tool bag ... good idea.
I'm just at a bit of a loss to understand why...
He had an extra line, which appeared to have no function, up the pole, over a pulley and back down the pole.
A "strap" like a thick cord/thin rope to move up the pole as he climbed ...yup. BUT a separate ribbon-like strap to anchor himself to work, once up there. WTF's wrong with the one he used to aid in the climb? In both instances he had to wrap it around the pole and attach the "free end" to the harness to complete the loop.
I must be missing something, somewhere. All it needed, surely, was two points of fastening: loose for the climb; more snug for working. Or is that too obvious?
