Giant's Brae

A slightly mysterious mound in the middle of Leith Links (true home of golf, as it happens). Usually this mound (and another a few hundred yards away) are said to be gun emplacements for the Siege of Leith (1559-60). Unfortunately, they're in a stupid position if that's what they are, and real emplacements were found in Pilrig Park (which is up the hill, higher than Leith; much better placement).

My suspicion is that they're rabbit warrens...
