Impromptu trip

Woke up this morning to a lovely day. Shelved plans to continue to sort out the attic and donned our walking gear and headed out towards the coast.

We started the walk at Ravenscar and called in to Port Mulgrave harbour. Originally used to export iron ore it now can only be reached either by slithering down a very muddy path or via the sea. It is really is a one off and so different to anywhere else along the coast.

I eventually settled on this close up of one of the beach huts. I take my hat off to the owner for the variety of materials they have cobbled together to provide shelter. Hope you have fun spotting the different bits and bobs used.

The only thing the close up does not provide is the context of this beach hut at the bottom of the cliffs. Just trying to work out how to add a link to other photos - any help gratefully received.
