Sometimes You Get Lucky

Sometimes you just set your camera and tripod up in the dark, point somewhere, hope for the best, and get lucky :o)

This was from the decking on our lodge in Hartsop on Friday night. I had spent a little while sorting out rubbish photo's from a rainy day, thinking that what I had was a poor example of the majesty and beauty of the Lake District, when I looked out and saw stars!

The cloud had moved on and left behind a gorgeous (cold) evening.
