Garden

This weekend has been a busy one for the garden. Took a leaf out of Dave the rave's book. Yesterday I cut back the lavender and put a load of mulch down to stop the weeds and keep the snowdrops warm for the snow that is probably coming from America.

Today I enlisted the help of son Ollie and Mr H and we gave the shrubbery a haircut and again put down mulch. Unfortunately I did not buy enough mulch, 100 litres, so will have to order some more. Overall pleased with the results. Took 3 of us 1.5 hours so not bad. Victoria meanwhile was preparing the lunch so we came in to the smell of roast chicken and roast potatoes.
