Broccoli Soup

There's a dusting of white on the hills today from a heavy hailstorm last night. Makes you crave a chunky soup.

Hence, a bit of a compromise for lunch today. I prepared the soup raw, but then heated it gently for some warmth before eating. This also tones down the sharp cruciferous bitterness so you don't have to mask it with a sweetener.

Most recipes include a lot of cashews or avocado to make it creamy - I got away with neither because I had some pumpkin and pecan milk in the fridge; you could also use almond milk.
