Flood meadows

Stopped off after my body pump class to take some more photos of the riverside. All the grass has been engulfed by the Thames and the water is up to the edge of the road. The ducks and geese now have a much bigger roaming area. The line of trees marks the usual site of the river bank and Thames path.

Put away the grocery delivery, made some roast parsnip soup (with excess Christmas veg that I cooked yesterday) and then waited for Son number one and husband to return.

Caught up on the ironing and The Archers. Now relaxing on the sofa with the prospect of chocolate (courtesy of M-in-Law) to snack on later.
