All in a row

Walked into town along the river. It was much colder and we have a snow and ice warning for the weekend and early next week.

Took my ring into the jewellers to see if it can be repaired. We'll know in a couple of weeks.

Visited a few shops to look at the sales. Would have happily spent a fortune in one (some great reductions) but did practice some restraint. I need to work out the dress code for my new office before I go too mad.

There's one place along the canal where the pigeons congregate. Families come to feed the swans and the pigeons benefit too. There's now a big notice asking people not to leave food on the pavement for the pigeons because it attracts rats. Don't think they are listening. There must have been 20 or so pigeons lined up on the railing and loads more on the roof of the nearby school. Just after I'd taken this picture, they were all spooked by something and took off in a huge flurry.

Had a lazy afternoon curled up in a warm chair and a cosy evening in with leftover curry and a good film.
