Arria, Cumbernauld, at night

Decided I needed a new compact camera, as I felt I needed an upgrade from the one I had. So, having checked out a few reviews and looked at a few in the shop, purchased a Panasonic Lumix. All I needed now was some time to try it out - not always easy for me on a Sunday!

New camera in hand, I then headed down to Cumbernauld (OK, I was already in the area and it was convenient) and fired off a few shots of Andy Scott's iconic Arria statue that overlooks the town. This picture is the one I like the most.

No doubt, as I get to know my new camera's settings and capabilities better. more of these 'experiments' will make onto my Blipfoto journal
