Bingo!

My first ripe tomato of the season, a little Gold Nugget. They are usually the first to ripen, but in mid-December. The late start with the greenhouse has made the difference. I also picked a zucchini, a 9 cm wonder. It was not going to grow any bigger.

Another cool day. I had the fire going all day to heat the water and it was pleasant to lean my back against the stove's rail, just as it is in winter.

My eyes and head have been sore today, especially on the computer. This tomato is the only thing I photographed.
