Shards of Light Clinging to the Landscape

The light that swept across the landscape this morning was beautiful. A variety of road closures on the A40 this morning meant I had to skid and slide through the icy roads of hidden villages. But the sun shone and the light caressed the land....

I had to pull over and the photo doesn't do it justice but when beauty presents itself to you in that way, we are left with little choice but to attempt to capture it in some way or another.....
