Cormorant, Forth & Clyde Canal

I'm due to lead a walk in Glasgow with the Ramblers next Wednesday, so went out today for a 'dummy run' to check directions, etc.

At Firhill Basin (just behind the Partick Thistle football ground) on the Glasgow Branch of the Forth & Clyde Canal there were two cormorants standing on two mooring docks. As we approached along the canal towpath one of the cormorants started flapping and stretching its wings and I was fortunate enough to capture the moment on camera.
