Candlelit Star

I believe inspiration and mystery are unified characteristics that bring life to the world. The mystery of "what" or "where" challenge the human mind to develop theories, which are ultimately derived from inspiration. Inspiration can be corrupted, like most things in this world, into continuing an idea instead of expanding upon it. Inspiration is simply something you see and feel that is beyond you at that moment. It can be a star shooting across the blue sky as it flickers one last time. The star becomes the idea as it races in your mind. It changes your perspective. It makes you more aware and curious with your surroundings. The random act of viewing this star on my homeward walk made me wonder why I never looked up more. If only I could fly, I would have a real story to tell everyone.

The greatest design solves a problem and inspires people to talk about it. It may even be so great for them to want to "fly" to it. It is a hidden siren singing a beautiful song. It is our natural curiosity to resolve the mystery of what is behind the metaphorical cloak. Basically, We have to know. The act of not knowing is infinitely more demoralizing than knowing a haunting truth. Ignorance may be bliss, bliss is not necessarily always based off ignorance.

Bliss can be finding comfort in a truth. A truth can be an inspiration. An inspiration becomes the idea. The idea sparks an endless wave of motion that carries through time. Thus, "look up" more when you design. You will actually change the future instead of mimicking the past. Negative progress is still better than no progress because at least you are going somewhere.
