Time well spent

Growing up nearly 1400 miles south of WI, I seem to always find myself wondering how it's possible to have adapted to winter so well. Snowboarding has become a passion of mine since I was first introduced to it 3 years ago.

My girlfriend and I took an evening trip to Devils Head Resort this evening to take advantage of their Thursday night lift ticket special. I haven't been able to ride as much as I would like this winter due to my work schedule so when I get the chance to go I try and make the best of it.

Mid way up the lift I found myself in a state of relaxation and appreciation for the beautiful views that surrounded me. This picture was taken at that very moment.
