The new and the old

Birthday girl today! I received a phone call from Australia from a girlfriend, flowers, cards and presents, and an email from Norway so I feel very lucky and happy in spite of trying to play down birthdays now!

N and I drove over to Sherborne and met B for lunch at the Italian restaurant before doing some chore shopping and in the evening we went for a drink with our neighbours.

This old timbered building in Cheap Street is 16th or 17th Century. It is so beautiful but a little overwhelmed by the modern shop window next door!
