The Three Trees

The light on my drive home today was amazing, with moody clouds and golden light, but nothing I took when the light was at its best really did it justice. I'm still learning how the little compact prefers to operate and remembering the compromises you need to think about.

This shot was taken exploring a new stretch of road, and I liked the contrasting shapes and sizes between the trees and the after much debate opted for a black and white treatment which I think has worked better than the colour one.
