Mega Tyre Fire

At the moment there is a 15,000 tonne stash of used tyres ablaze near Sherburn-In-Elmet. It has been burning since yesterday morning.

This blip is a 4 shot sticth in Photoshop and the plume of smoke is still quite thick towards the left. I could probably have done another 4 shots of the plume but it would have been so small on blip! This was taken from the site of the Towton battlefield memorial - about 4 miles from the blaze
