Blip 1111!

I'm waiting for the Sunday paper to come out because there might be an article about yours truly and the Women's Democratic Club (DeWA) I have led since 2008.

I knew that I had to pay more attention to my personal life now, my health and well-being and that of my mother.  So I felt I could no longer continue to lead the group.  I stepped back knowing that no one would come forward to take my place.   As a result, the Executive Board voted to dissolve the organization on March 1, 2014.

So pictured here is Ellen, the reporter from the Green Valley News, who did a lengthy interview with me this day.  She kept asking why the organization was dying.  I kept telling her how well it had lived!
