A walk by Guy's Cliffe

Decided on a walk out today to a field walking past Guy's Cliffe, the usual route is parking in the pub car park and up the side of pub and across the river via a bridge but on getting to the bridge i found it closed due to recent flooding. so it was then a case of finding another route , luckily the local church to it provided one, only meaning a slight detour.
Guys Cliffe has been in a ruined state since the late 20th century, the roof fell in by 1966. In 1922 during filming The adventures of Sherlock holmes, a fire scene got out of control and seriously damaged the building. English Heritage have given the building a grade 11 listed status.
