Winter Hydrangea

Just outside my studio doors stands an enormous Hydrangea aspera. It’s fully 10 feet tall and equally as wide, with furry leaves during the summer. Now, of course, it is merely a skeleton of branches and faded flowers, beautiful nonetheless in its natural sepia tones.
