horns of wilmington's cow

It's a Long Tale...

But the short version is that I got a call at 8.08am, and Isla is back home.

The long version - No real idea what caused her to be ill, but suspicion lies with the worming tablet she got along with her booster. She's never reacted to the booster before, but has never had the worming tablet in the past, and while the vet said they've never had trouble with it, there is always the outside chance of a negative reaction as a one-off in any particular cat. When calling the vet said she seemed a little brighter, and described her as 'feisty', at which point I knew she definitely must have been better.

Got her home and immediately the difference was noticeable - just a happy wee purry soul, steady on her feet, and demanding food. Nice to have her back fixed.

So we were able to go for a nice long walk from the house out round to Musselburgh and just beyond, hoping to see some Long-tailed Ducks. Et voila. Even if they were a bit far out and this is heavily heavily cropped. At least there are a couple of males demonstrating just why they're called what they are.

Anyway, how'd it get to be Sunday early evening already?
