Weeping angel

While botanising in Stamford Cemetery we came across this weeping angel, but fortunately she was armless...

The cemetery was surprisingly rich, with remnants of species-rich limestone grassland in the oldest part. In a spring it's going to look stunning, with huge swathes of primroses annd ox-eye daisies - I think another photographuic visit may be required! The star-find of the day was a good population of meadow saxifrage, which is very scarce locally, with many of the remaining populations being in churchyards and cemeteries.
