The old Landing Stage at Polperro

A superb crisp and cold morning and a drive to Polperro and Looe with bright skies and lots of fluffy clouds. In season these old fishing villages are tourist hotspots and you can't move but not today.

Lots of blipping opportunities and a difficult choice. A disused landing stage which is just off the beach and presumably for use when the tide is out - as it was this morning. Following on from yesterday I wanted to do it in mono but I just couldn't ignore the beautiful colours. There are more on Flickr including a mono version of this. Sadly the weather didn't last - after lunch it was almost continuous heavy showers.
