Toasted Tibea

Well the holiday took a turn today, it seems Jenny at least will be exploring North Vancouver this week rather than dogsleds and ski-doo's at Whistler.

Right at the top of the Blackcomb Glacier I had a seemingly very minor spill and have ended up with a broken tibea which needs some screws and stuff to secure.

It was a fairly exhilarating ride down on a toboggan behind a very fit Tasso the ski patroller. An X-ray in the Whistler clinic revealed it was more than the strain I was hoping for, and so an ambulance to Vancouver it was.

Just as well I have my Blipfoto to remind me of the good skiing...
