A winter's morning

A beautiful hoary frost this morning, and clear skies. With all the fog and sunshine about there were some lovely scenes. I liked this view of the trees in the fog with the moon still hanging in the sky.

When I took Murdoch for a walk I noticed that snowdrops are already up. Does this mean that spring is on the way? I think a cold February still needs to happen before we can even think about spring.
