Fire in the Fog

What a difference a bit of height makes! We awoke to thick mist / fog and a heavy frost as per the forecast. I went down to the river and took some fairly pleasing b/w shots of frosty tree etc. I thought that would probably be it for the day as the fog was not forecast to lift.
However, as I drove to Chesterfield, I burst through the gloom and into a world of sunshine and blue sky. So that was the afternoon taken care of as the fog in the valley did not clear. It lessened and swirled a bit but never completely cleared. I walked along the Edge and snapped away. I began to wonder if I could get a shot of the fog as the sun set.
I and several other people did!
