The remains of bulrush stems in a pond near Calver Bridge.. I liked the way the one in the background had fallen over and made a perfect right angled triangle. The layers of ice round the base of the plants was from yesterday's cold night and morning but now the water level has dropped fractionally, leaving them suspended above the water.
