Four Willows Waving

This morning started cloudy and grey as we left for our Journey from the Northsea to the Weserbergland. This time a partly different railway-route through the South took us over several "big" rivers: the New and Old Maas, the Dutch Deep, again the Maas and finally the Rhine. As we crossed into Nordrhein-Westfalen, the mist grew thicker and thicker. No Blip today then, I thought. Pictures you try to shoot during rivercrossing on a cloudy day in the mist....all in vain.
But Admirer is more experienced in blipping through trainwindows (not too dirty..). So before we passed Paderborn, we found this " window of opportunity". You can see her People walking between the Three Trees. Looking down into a dark green valley. Here you see the Four Willows Waving. More in grey-green. More German Romanticism. I like that. Here in the Weser-valley and the Rheinhardswald the "Märchenstraße" is very near to were we live. We are gratefull for the Silent Welcoming of the Four Willows.
