Rise Above It

I stopped by the Thames on the way between the second and third offices of the day, just to enjoy the last light and calm down a bit after a crap meeting. Ah well. A pleasant day apart from that, can't complain.

I bought some running shoes! And I went for a run! And I got lost! So I did a bit of extra distance! And I'm not dead! Result.

Went to see the Mandela film which I thought was excellent. You could say it shied away from the misery and cruelty, but that's not the point. The point is, you wouldn't believe it if you didn't know it's true. We'll never see his like again. Inspirational.
