La La La La

I couldn't decide if these reminded me of little singing mouths or a nest full of baby birds. Either way I thought they were pretty interesting.

They are actually what is left when the bottle brush flowers die off, these are the 'holders' of the flowers.

The big heat is still with us - 38c again today and the same tomorrow. My phone camera was having some sort of trouble pulling focus outside and I thought it must be the heat. So I picked this little branch and brought it home, let the phone cool down and it worked fine in the air conditioning!
