Light Contemplation

While trying to figure out how to use my off-camera flash, I decided a selfie was the way to go, I also thought about a background that added perspective and poignancy. I wanted to show who I am and where I am. But I forgot the tripod, I was too cold to set up the remote (so had no time for positioning/focus) and too inexperienced with the flash to get what I wanted.

I was, none the less, happy with this ........until I saw Robart's shot for today.
