Eleven of us went out for a meal this lunchtime to a restaurant that has only just begun to offer Menu del Dia.  We've been there several times before for special occasions and the place is a real experience as it's decor is way OTT, but we wanted to test out the new menu.  The verdict was tasty, unusual, poncy and a case of style over substance as they say because the portions were a bit small.  I'm not sure if we'll go there again, but it was nice to try it.

None of the photos I took were any good, although I quite liked this one of the parrots in the restaurant garden, where they keep all sorts of animals and birds, so I got Steve to stop the car amidst the turbines on our way back.  Offwithitshead blips are tagged.
