There were some Brussels sprouts on our market, which was amazing as I've only seen them for sale once before in these parts, so I bought some. Then I bought some more fruit and veg from another stall, one where I've shopped quite a few times before. When I got back home I realised that I should have had 5 euros more in my purse than I actually had, but I couldn't face going back and telling him about it as he only spoke Spanish, which I don't, not Catalan, and it's just too difficult. It's possible that it was a genuine mistake, but it's also possible that it might not be. I feel a bit of a fool.
