An Unkindness of Ravens

By Nevermore

I love a sunburnt country...

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror -
The wide brown land for me!

Dorothea Mackellar, 1904

I was in two minds about whether to post anything for yesterday, as I was not overly impressed with any of my images. I have only posted this because it shows the colour of the countryside at this time of year and also the blipper blipping the dog...

We (my parents, my children and Lucy the dog) walked a small section of the 134km Great Victorian Bike Trail, along the Goulburn River valley, near Trawool. It's an old railway line.
