Sunday Brunch

We had a wonderful (mostly Paleo) brunch with a close friend in a wonderful new spot. Cafe Modern was quite amazing. I'd love to go back for lunch sometime, perhaps when Mom comes to visit. We haven't done nearly enough exploring of this amazing city that we live in. Need to visit more museums and the water gardens. Speaking of water, The Modern has this wonderful center shallow pool. It was so calming and centering to be able to watch the slow, constant ripples from the strong wind from our table in the glass bubble of the cafe.

After brunch we went grocery shopping at Sprouts for produce. I had been told by friends that it was good and cheap produce. They were definitely right, but there is a somewhat limited selection of other grocery items. With some searching we were able to satisfy most of our Paleo shopping list though.
