Amber

I was reading the other day that The Cooncil are going to replace all the city's current streetlamp bulbs with energy-saving bulbs, saving (aka re-distributing) a wad of cash because they won't need replacing so often. So, since the weel-kent amber glow over Edinburgh may soon just be a thing of the past, I thought I'd start trying to capture a few mood shots. (It was raining on the way home so there was a better glow than usual off the pavement.) Who knows, if the technology isn't completely defunct I might even be able to check them out down the line when my own memory bank starts to show signs of wear!
