Bracket fungus...

...on an old tree stump. Planning a different blip entirely when I left the house for a wander round the village. My husband spotted this, and on his info I'm saying it is a bracket fungus ( but if anyone else knows better feel free to put us right ). Thought it might not last as long as the planned blip, so the fungus is featuring today.
