Gateway to nothing

With a temperature of -3C and a fierce wind that made it feel like -10C, Ron, Herman and I took off at the 'Punt van Reide' early this morning to expose some pixels.
We didn't have high hopes because of the heavy grey overcast, but since we were taught to be there at the decisive moment we gave it a try.

After we'd walked around for a bit, concluding there were picturs to be made, only under opposite weatherconditions we noticed the sky turning from grey to orange.
The two others went low, I stayed halfway the dike. For a very short period of time the sky presented us several nice colors. Then it went back to a flat grey again. That all happened so fast, it felt as if it was a treat just for us and we weren't allowed to tell anybody.

All and all it was nice to be out there. Tomorrow snow is predicted. I wonder where/when the decisive of that day will be...
