Silver Sunshine

Thank goodness my cold is getting better, I couldn't wait to get outside today and take in some fresh air and there was certainly plenty of it howling up the Bristol Channel. At one stage I was sat in the car with horizontal rain lashing at the window. Just 30 minutes later and bright sunshine.

This is a 3-frame HDR image merged and monochromed in Photomatix. I like the blurred effect of the clouds which emphasised the strong wind. I was having to lean on the tripod to keep it steady.
