100 not out!

Bit too much haggis last night (and maybe a bit too much liquid refreshment as well!) meant I kept the run to 10-miles today ...

... was out around 10.30am, and the weather was also truly atrocious in Edinburgh: I've not been so wet for some considerable time :-(

But time was absolutely fine, and the 'energy gels' were consumed safely without any negative effect!

Now - that picture? ... regular readers will remember I turned 50 on 22nd December last year - which is partly why I'm doing all of this running! - and my better-half is also fast-approaching the same milestone (next month); so we had a bit of a joint 100 not out 'family/friends gathering' this evening which was most enjoyable :-)

Definite rest/recovery day tomorrow!


Finally, here's the plan for next week:

MONDAY - cycle-commute and rest day thereafter :-)
TUESDAY - short run of at least 5-miles and cycle-commute thereafter
WEDNESDAY - cycle-commute and gym, then swim, at Dalry
THURSDAY - short run of at least 5-miles and cycle-commute thereafter
FRIDAY - cycle-commute and gym, then swim, at Dalry
SATURDAY - long run: needs to be at least 14-miles this week!
SUNDAY - as above, if not possible on the Saturday and/or swim
