F-Hole

The title is a reference to K-Hole, the OTHER place we stay in for long nights, but with a pint in hand rather than a computer mouse. This is our late-night hole on all-nighter work nights: F211.

Sorry for the burst of horrible phone-taken photos recently. Seems my camera hasn't been following around at the right times. Thanks to Kris for lending me his phone for this one.

Once you get past about midnight, it's the same people who are in here all night long. You form a sort of connection, its got something to do with the desperation and the weird high you end up on after so many hours in front of a screen. In many cases its also due to too much caffeine and sugar.
Usual suspects including Kris and Alexandros were there, plus Ashley and Mahfood who can be seen in the left corner.

So I woke up with only one thing in mind: time to get this AFD report done once and for all. I’m writing this 28 hours later on no sleep after a full day’s stunt in F211. Highlights: farmer’s market with Kris, failed buffet dinner at uni house with Kris, Ali and Verity (now we got vouchers though!) and kebab van at midnight with Kris and Pop-goers. Oh and getting the report done. Drawbacks: drinking five cans of coke. Well, four and a half, thank god I didn’t finish that last one…
