Grating Limes

Making up a marinade to put over chicken for dinner tomorrow. All put together quickly, after deeply scoring the chicken pieces.

Lime Juice and drizzle of sesame oil over the meat first.
Salt and pepper
Diced garlic and ginger
Crushed cardamon seeds
Cumin
Ground cloves
Finally the grated lime zest over the top.

Into the fridge for 24 hours before cooking tomorrow.

Just in from a lovely evening with very special friends. Good to catch up, and talk about things that really matter. We took tea, and ate warmed M&S apple pie.
